Dense tropical hardwood lump charcoal — intense sear-grade heat, 3–4 hour burn, 2–3% ash and a clean natural wood-grill aroma. Direct-import container supply for importers, distributors and BBQ brands.
Density is the whole story: tropical-grown tamarind is structurally tighter than oak or hickory, so one load burns hotter and lasts longer, with a fraction of the ash of briquettes.

Natural irregular lump reaching much higher peak temperatures. Coconut is ground and compressed — steadier but lower heat. Choose tamarind when searing power matters.
Tamarind grows in dense tropical climates — structurally tighter than North American hardwoods. A single load burns slower and needs fewer refills across a service shift.
Briquettes often contain sawdust, anthracite coal, starch binders and accelerants. Tamarind is 100% natural wood and burns to a minimal, tight white ash.
